From dawn to the small hours, the city never stops

Light, shadow, services and residents follow the simulation clock. Every hour of the day is a different city, and your map keeps them all.

Mayor or Governor

A single city, or a whole state to found

When you create a save you choose to be Mayor of one municipality or Governor of a state you populate yourself, plot by plot. State laws, transfers and highways tie it all together.

  • From 1 to 12 municipalities, founded on any free plot of the map
  • State map in an 8 × 8 grid of 5.12 km plots
  • One active city at a time; the others keep running in aggregate and wake up without losing population, money or stock
  • Online is optional: playing solo never needs a connection

Features

What makes CityMock a different game

The simulation depth of a real city builder, with what the community always asked for built in from the start.

  • Deep finances

Budget, taxes, loans and production in layers: municipality, state and consolidated. Every number can be inspected and every alert states its cause and a fix.

  • Real citizens

Each resident is an agent with a home, a job, money and a mood. They learn, plan for the long term and want different things. Nobody teleports, and small children never walk alone.

  • A dynamic city

Roads wear out, pipes burst. The incident shows up on the map and a crew leaves its depot, drives to the spot and fixes it.

  • Realistic public lighting

Real street lamps, light cones and pools of light on the ground. At night the city gets its own mood, and a blackout leaves the street dark.

  • Today’s themes

Artificial intelligence, data centers, remote work and electric cars with charging enter the simulation as mechanics, not decoration.

  • Readable simulation

The game shows why every problem happens: demand, land value, rent, crowding, fares. No guessing what the city wants.
